Karnataka is a very competitive market for Hyd Breakers aided by the vast and scattered territory. The territory offers a market size of around 250 Hyd Breakers per annum in retail contractor segment. It also has an abundance of metal mining/limestone belts with cement plants spanning across North Karnataka and Bellary, Hospet for iron ore mining in addition to blue metal quarry segment.

Retail segment plus Key Accounts of iron ore mining and limestone quarrying makes this territory a solid ground for a Territory Manager to perform with passion.

We are required to remain competitive, not only sustain but increase our market share and that can be done by deploying dedicated and technically/commercially competent resource.

Job description/Mission 

Territory Manager to grow business of Hydraulic Attachments in Karnataka that covers the whole state.
This position will reports to Regional Manager Chennai

He will be responsible for sustainable growth of market share of HAT products.
Apart from growth in market share, he will also be responsible for driving the Distributor sales team, co-ordination with service team, working with marketing to promote the appropriate models and to cover the territory with new models available within HAT domain.

The position offers a stimulating challenge to the incumbent who would have to focus on a number of important aspects, some of which are enumerated in Mission below. 

. Sustainable growth in market share
. Driving HAT Distributors as extended business partners
. Co-ordination with Service/Marketing Teams
. Effective Territory mapping/coverage
. Mapping of 7 tonne and mini-excavator market and promote hydraulic attachments suitable to this category
. Aggressive promotion of silent demolition tools

Experience requirements 
A result oriented & experienced professional. Should have minimum 4-5 years of experience in HAT or related products of construction equipment industry.
The incumbent will drive the sales and Distributor to achieve the desired targets.

Should possess capability to train people and be able to get people to work under guidance 

Excellent communication skills are essential (Verbal+Written). Fluency in spoken, written, reading Kannada language & English is must for this position as incumbent shall have to deal with retail contractors as well as Key Accounts.

Well versed with various Excavator models in the market

Knowledge/Educational requirements 
Engineering Degree in Mining /Mechanical/Mining Machinery
Post Graduate in Sales / Marketing Management would be an advantage

Personality requirements 
A self-motivated & open personality combined with strong leadership & communication skills 
Capacity to build good relations with Customers/ Distributors and Team Members
